Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sea Lodge. By booking accommodation, using our website, or staying at the property, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Bookings and Payments
  • All reservations are subject to availability and confirmed only once payment has been received.

  • We accept payments via approved booking platforms or direct bank transfer.

  • Rates include VAT (where applicable) and are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).

  • Check-in and check-out times must be strictly observed unless prior arrangements are made.

Cancellations and Refunds
  • Our cancellation charges policy with respect to deposits paid is as follows:

    • Cancellation Made 21 to 28 days before occupation - 25% Percentage of deposit forfeited

    • Cancellation Made 14 to 21 days before occupation - 50% Percentage of deposit forfeited

    • Cancellation Made 7 to 14 days before occupation - 75% Percentage of deposit forfeited

    • Cancellation Made Less than 7 days before occupation - 100%Percentage of deposit forfeited

  • No-shows or early departures are non-refundable.

  • Refunds, when approved, will be processed within 10 working days.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

  • Use the property for accommodation purposes only.

  • Keep the premises clean, secure, and in good order.

  • Report any damages or maintenance issues immediately.

  • Respect neighbours, noise regulations, and body corporate rules.

Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited. Pets are allowed only if pre-approved in writing.

Liability and Indemnity

While every effort is made to ensure guest safety, Sea Lodge accepts no responsibility or liability for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings; or

  • Injury, accident, illness, or death occurring on or around the property.

Guests and their invitees occupy the premises entirely at their own risk.

Use of Facilities

All facilities, including Wi-Fi and parking, are provided as a courtesy and are used at guests’ discretion.
Wi-Fi may not be used for illegal or harmful online activity.

Damage and Loss

Guests are responsible for any loss or damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay.
Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the deposit or charged directly to the guest.

Privacy and Data Protection
  • Sea Lodge values your privacy and complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and international data-protection laws.

Third-Party Services

Sea Lodge may provide links or references to external businesses (such as restaurants, activities, or tour operators) for convenience only.
This does not imply endorsement, and Sea Lodge bears no liability for any services rendered by third parties.

Force Majeure

Sea Lodge will not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of South African courts.
